[edit] Eurosong record
They took part in Beovizija 2004 with the song "Zbunjena" placing 1st out of 28 with a score of 79 points. This qualified them for the Evropesma 2004 contest where the winner would go on to represent Serbia & Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul. They eventually finished in 4th place with a respectable score of 44 points. They returned to Beovizija in 2007 with the song "Prava Stvar" finishing in 3rd place as the jury's favourite while only coming 8th in the public vote. The band released 3 albums: 'Negative', 'Ni ovde ni tamo' and 'Tango'.
You might have seen the band performing their new song "Prava stvar" ("The Real Thing") at the Beovizija festival. They took the 3rd place in the Eurovision Song Contest national finals, the first since Serbia declared independence. The song was festival jury's favorite, but public votes decided in favor of Marija Šerifović, who would eventually win the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland. On July 15, Negative's last concert to date took place at Exit festival's Fusion Stage. The band is said to be working on their new, fourth studio album, scheduled to be released in Spring 2008.
