Negativa is the self-titled debut EP by technical death metal group Negativa. It was released in November of 2006 on the Prodisk label. Featuring a lineup with a high pedigree in the extreme metal genre, it has received great anticipation from its announcement.[citation needed]
Musically, the content of the album is a continuation of the sound pioneered on the Gorguts album, Obscura, with more experimentation in ambient sections.
The CD also features a multimedia section with lyrics, photos and a video of Chaos in Motion created using studio footage of the band recording the song.
