[edit] Summary

Description

This is the insides of a Namco NeGcon controller, viewed by taking off the back shell of the controller. Note the presence of two potentiometers on the right side of the controller (left in this picture), used for the I and II analog buttons (red circles with crosses inside). Also note the presence of two potentiometers on the left side of the controller, the upper which reads the analog L button and the lower which reads the twist of the controller. Note the R button pushes a white plastic lever (pivot of which is in the back half of the controller not shown) which pushes a standard digital dome switch.

Source

This picture is a lightened and cropped version of a picture I took myself. This is a picture of one of my own NeGcon controllers.
