Nedumpoil

Nedumpoil is a small village in Kannur district of Kerala, south India. It is situated between two major towns, Thalassery and Mananthavady.

Nedumpoil is located at a junction, where roads from Thalassery (through Kuthuparamba), Kottiyoor and Manathavady meets . One 11 kv substation is located there, which creates power for all the near by areas - Kolayad, Peravoor, Thundiyil, Kottiyoor, Nedumpuramchal, Perumthody etc. Every vehicle going to Mananthavady stops at Nedumpoil for refreshment, because after that, the hilly area starts to have many hairpin turnings.
