Nedda Casei

Nedda Casei (born 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an operatic mezzo-soprano. She premiered in Brussels in 1960. In 1964 she debuted at the Metropolitan Opera playing Maddalena in Rigoletto.[1] She would perform at the Met for the next 21 years. She has also been an advocate for musicians being president of the American Guild of Musical Artists for ten years.[2] In addition she worked with the Czech early music group Ars Rediviva.
