Necroticism - Descanting the Insalubrious (literary meaning: "The Dying Process - Discussing the Unhealthy") is the third album from the band Carcass, released in 1991 through Earache Records. It could be described as a concept album, as many of the tracks describe economical ways to dispose of dead bodies ("Pedigree Butchery", for example, proposes that dead humans be turned into pet food, "Carneous Cacoffiny" proposes to use human body parts as musical instruments and in "Impropagation" human remains are used as fertiliser).

[edit] Japanese version
The Japanese edition was released on April 21, 1992 through Toy's Factory, but it is now out-of-print. It has an original Japanese name Shitai Aikou-Heki (屍体愛好癖), which means dead-body loving habit (corpse-loving condition, or necrophilia). Also, in this version, every track has the original Japanese title and lyrics translated in Japanese. These song titles may be translated imperfectly, and thus include some errors.
