Necessaire (Fabergé egg)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Necessaire egg is a jewelled Easter egg made under the supervision of the Russian jeweller Peter Carl Fabergé in 1888, for Alexander III of Russia, who presented it to his wife, the Empress Maria Feodorovna.

It is one of eight eggs which are currently lost. The egg contained a thirteen piece manicure set [1].
