Necare

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Necare (USA) played death/doom metal in the vein of old Anathema (specifically 'Pentecost III era vocally). Truly mournful and bleak music for the romantic doom fan. Sporadic use of a violin and other atmospheric elements. They used both death grunts and clean vocals. The band officially disbanded in 2004 with Ryan Henry moving on to make his own (now defunct) Funeral Doom Metal band 'Reclusiam' also in 2004.
