Amish districts ordinarily split in two or three when they are too big to worship together in their districts homes or barns, not for any schismatic reason. This can happen quite often given the size of Amish families. I don't know if this is the reason for the "splits" referred to in this article. NTK (talk) 18:45, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
