Neal Shapiro

Neal Shapiro was installed as president of PBS station Thirteen/WNET New York City in February 2007. Shapiro is a former president of NBC News; before that he was the Executive producer of Dateline NBC, guiding it from one night a week to five nights a week. He departed NBC in September 2005.
Shapiro has won Emmy Awards, DuPont-Columbia Awards, Sigma Delta Chi Awards and Chris Awards. He also has taught at both Columbia University and his alma mater, Tufts University.
Shapiro attended Bethlehem Central High School in Delmar, New York, graduating in 1976. In 2005, He was inducted into the school's hall of fame.
He is married to ABC News correspondent JuJu Chang, and is the father of three boys, Jared, Travis, and Mason Blake Shapiro.
