Neal McClelland is a Belfast radio presenter and personality. He began his broadcasting career at the Radio Royal, RVH, Belfast. Around the same time (1988) McClelland began working in local club progressing to Radio Top Shop in Belfast's city center where he presented a his first daily show.
McClelland's radio career has progressed as follows:
1991 - 1993 Riverside, L Derry. 1996 - 1997 BCR - 'Flipside' Dance Show. 1998 - 2000 Citybeat 96.7FM. 2000 - 2002 Cool FM 97.4FM. 2003 - 2004 Mid FM. 2004 - 2005 Citybeat 96.7FM - Drive Time/Various.
McClelland returned to Citybeat in 2006 and currently resides with two weekly shows, one on Friday nights (7pm - 10pm) called 'Feel Good Friday' featuring Dance & Party Classics, the other on Sunday night called 'Citybeat Soul' (7pm - 10pm) features the very best in classic & contemporary Soul, Funk, RnB/Hip Hop & Disco.
Outside radio in Northern Ireland McClelland has been involved as a DJ in most of the clubs in Co. Antrim & Co. Down since 1988 to present.
Charity work
Recent McClelland has been involved in many high profile charitable events including 'Can't Cook Won't Cook' at the 2007 Hillsborough Oyster festival in association with Action Cancer, a charitable organization that is close to his heart.
