Neal James Eardley (born November 6, 1988 in Llandudno, Clwyd) is a Welsh professional footballer, currently playing for Oldham Athletic.
Eardley made his professional debut for Oldham in the last game of the 2005/06 season against Scunthorpe United.
He made his Wales U21 debut on 16 August 2006 against Israel U21's at the age of 17, in a game played in Holland. This alerted top clubs such as Liverpool, who promptly started scouting him[1]. Eardley went on to gain his first senior cap for Wales a year later, now 18, in a friendly against Bulgaria.
Eardley has recently[when?] been stand-in captain for Oldham in the absence of Sean Gregan.
