Nea Palatia (Greek: Νέα Παλάτια) is a community of the Greek prefecture of Attica. Nea Palatia is linked with the road linking GR-1/E75 and Oropos as well as GR-79 and the road linking Dilesi and Markopoulo Oropou. The area around Nea Palatia are flat and urbanized while farmlands cover the southern part. The South Euboic Gulf covers the north which offers a panoramic view of the island of Euboea as well as Eretria. Nea Palatia is located about ENE of Athens, N of GR-1/E75 (Athens - Lamia - Thessaloniki) east of Avlona and Thiva. The seat of government is the town of Néa Palátia (pop. 2,423 in 2001). Its other towns and villages are Ágios Konstantínos (pop. 870), Agía Aikateríni (216), Póntioi (81), and Ágios Athanásios (57).
Businesses are the most popular industry in Nea Palatia, agriculture dominates the central part and away from its beaches. Housing developments came in the 1990s but slowly boomed.
