What is your source for claiming the trump tower will be 720 feet tall? I can't find any such claim anywhere else. 213 meters is roughly 699 feet, and every other source I've seen claims 700 feet. 720 seems made up to me. Wbbigtymer 21:09, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not remove large sections of articles without explanation

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. -- Infrogmation 23:07, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not delete Mobile / New Orleans Mardi Gras

Wikipedia is one of the few places where New Orleans influence on Mobile's Mardi Gras can be documented. It is important to describe how New Orleans preserved the French Creole culture and restored the Tuesday celebrations back to Mobile, which had reduced Carnivale to New Year's celebrations or Twelfth Night, due to British/Spanish prohibition of French customs. Thank you for your patience; it is not intended to seem repetitious, but the details take time to connect, to show how New Orleans spread the Mardi Gras customs to other cities. -209.214.45.10 10:33, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:NewOrleansShellShockers05.GIF)

Thanks for uploading Image:NewOrleansShellShockers05.GIF. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Jusjih (talk) 04:35, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. 23:23, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
