The NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse championship started in 1985 with TCNJ beating Ursinus seven to four. Since then TCNJ has won ten more championships, Ursinus has won three, and Middlebury has won five. Amherst and Franklin Marshall have each won one. William Smith has lost the most losing five Championship Games.
