Polish Police G36 versions

Hello,

I am afraid Nburden, I know better than you which versions of the G36 are used by the Polish Police SWAT teams and there is no such model like G36E in Polish Police service. Please do not change the G36 entry again.

regards, REMOV

Could you please point me to a source then? I've never heard of a G36KV, only the G36, G36E, G36K, and G36C. Nburden (T) 00:49, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
The G36KV is just the name of an export version of the G36K carbine, just like G36V is an export version of the G36 assault rifle. The G36 is a basic assault rifle purchased by the German Army, the G36E is Spanish version of the G36 and previous export name of the rifle, from mid 90s. The G36C name didn't change becouse this is not the Bundeswehr standard issue rifle. And your source - well, just take a look at the official H&K website http://www.heckler-koch.de/HKWeb/show/frameContent/19/4/19 the best source of all. Or, if you want, I can send you a G36V or G36KV receivers with clearly visible "G36V" or "G36KV" mark even from rifles and carbines used by Polish SWAT Police units. Regards, REMOV
Cool, my material on the G36 only ever mentions the G36E as an export version. And while I'd love to take you up on the reciever offer, I don't think the US government would like it much! Nburden (T) 22:19, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Pictures of receivers, pictures not the hardware, sorry for the little mistake. The receivers are also important parts of the weapons here in Poland ;) Regards, REMOV
