Talk:NBC Weather Plus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We may have a problem with this article. It appears that nearly all, if not all, NBC stations are listed here and that NBC WeatherPlus is available in the respective cities. Unless NBC WeatherPlus hasn't been updating their station page on a regular basis and/or folks have confirmed all the stations listed have the network in their area, some serious editing will be needed. - --Bdj95 14:44, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

I think there are several affiliates in the list that aren't actually participating. I only removed the one I was sure didn't have it. Boisemedia 18:27, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of Stations

The List of Stations section should be organized by DMA #. --myselfalso 23:01, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WEAU

Has WEAU-TV joined this program, or is it doing its local radar independently? --Libertyernie2 23:32, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Don't think so. WEAU-DT 13.2 (Cable 247) doesn't look anything like "WeatherPlus" screenshots in the article and contains absolutely no "WeatherPlus" branding at all (is only branded as "24-7 Weather" or "24-7 Weather Anytime". WEAU's channel also has NO national weather or weather news as shown in the WeatherPlus hourly schedule in the article; it appears to be 100% locally produced with local content and local advertising only. I've run across some other broadcast stations elsewhere that have "weather channels" that aren't affiliated with the "big names" like WeatherPlus and AccuWeather, so WEAU isn't alone in that regard. vmz 10:29, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Listing of digital channels

Should we list the antenna digital channels as well? i.e. 8.2 for Portland, OR --Rabbitdude 03:28, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
