NBA ShootOut

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NBA ShootOut is a series of video games that recreate play in the NBA. It was first released in 1996, and it is produced for various game consoles by 989 Sports.

In the games, players could choose an existing NBA franchise and play exhibition or regular season games, while creating their own players and including the created players in regular season team rosters. In early 2000s versions, Michael Jordan is included, as a member of the Washington Wizards. Earlier versions of the game made it extremely difficult for players to be able to dunk; this problem has been done with by game programmers as newer versions appear, however.

The games are rated E, for everyone, by the ESRB.
