[edit] NPOV?

In the providence of God, Colorado Springs was selected as the site. - I'm not sure I understand this, but I'm thinking it's basically saying that the selection of Colorado Springs as the site was a "good thing." I have no problem with this statement personally, but it does seem like a POV. Am I wrong about the meaning of the sentence? I didn't change it myself because I'm unsure that my interpretation is correct. --Bltpdx 06:46, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

By the way, the wikification was by me; forgot to log in.--Bltpdx 07:21, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

  • I removed the phrase. -- JJay 09:54, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

(from Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_directory) This in an official policy. Wikipedia is not a directory of everything that exists or has existed. Wikipedia articles are not:

  1. Directories, directory entries, electronic program guide, or a resource for conducting business. For example, an article on a radio station generally should not list upcoming events, current promotions, phone numbers, current schedules, etc., although mention of major events, promotions or historically significant programme lists and schedules may be acceptable. Furthermore, the Talk pages associated with an article are for talking about the article, not for conducting the business of the topic of the article.
