Navigazione Generale Italiana was a Italian ocean liner company which had ocean liners designed for luxury and relaxtion. It later merged with Lloyd Sabaudo and Cosulich Line to form the Italian line which went on to make the one time italian blue riband champion SS Rex and the ill fated SS Andrea Doria
