Naval Hospital Corps School

Naval Hospital Corpsman School is the US Navy's only Basic Hospital Corps School. It is located at 601 D St., Bldg 130H, Naval Station, Great Lakes,Illinois 60088., it was established there since January 1913. It is an "A" School. Its mission is to field Basic Hospital Corpsman into the fleet. Whether they be aboard ships, with US Marine Corps Units, aboard Naval Hospitals and other Department of Defense Medical Facilities, or elsewhere. The mission of Naval Hospital Corps School remains the same as it has always been: To develop, teach, and put forward Basic Hospital Corpsman into the fleet.
