Naval Air Station Point Mugu or NAS Point Mugu (IATA: NTD, ICAO: KNTD, FAA LID: NTD) is an airbase located in Point Mugu, Ventura County, California, United States.
Due to realignment actions which occurred in 2000, the base is now part of Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), a consolidated organization that also includes Construction Battalion Center (CBC) Port Hueneme.
On June 9, 2004, the family & remains of former President of the United States Ronald Reagan left Point Mugu aboard United States Air Force SAM 28000 for his state funeral in Washington, D.C. The group returned to Point Mugu on June 11th for his burial at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. This was the same military airfield that the President used when he was visiting his ranch during his years in the White House.
