[edit] Virginia Tech massacre question
I've posted a question on the Talk page of the Virginia Tech massacre article regarding the necessity of including the shooter's nation of origin in the lead of that article. As you were the most recent person to add this to the article, it would be good if you could participate in the discussion. Thanks! --ElKevbo 19:27, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:1950_10_25_Korea_War.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:1950_10_25_Korea_War.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Goguryeo-Han Wars
A tag has been placed on Goguryeo-Han Wars, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Vgranucci 05:54, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Warning
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Goguryeo. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. --

[edit] work together
I agree with you. Gaogouli must be purged of the Korean nationalists as you have said. We need to make the article fair and NPOV. DefenseofChina 18:06, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

- Naus, be careful of what DefenseofChina is telling to you, we have to calm down and write interesting articles instead of doing fruitless revert edit war and respect other user by adding relevant sources instead of laughing at their face as he is doing. For example, i am a Korean French guy and i am very intersted in writing articles related to history of Manchuria or Northeast China or whatever : i wrote articles about Khitans (before 907) (see List of the Khitan rulers) before the Liao dynasty (907-1125) which have no history connections with Korean peninsula. [edit] Proposal for complete deletion of section GAWC 1999 Edition [2] !
Reasons: a) outdated study published 8 years ago (conducted even earlier) b) 2004 Edition is available and reflects the current state c) presenting two editions is no extra information value d) The GAWC 1999 studies in general pretends to define a status of major cities but only focuses economic data. This is misleading and already resulted in a widespread citation within Wikipedia major city articles. Proposal: If there are no multiple serious arguments for keeping it, the section should be deleted within the next 7 days. all the best Lear 21 15:18, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:1954oct_chinese_troops_return.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:1954oct_chinese_troops_return.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:20, 25 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Bleh999 06:20, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Thatsshanghai.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Thatsshanghai.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Jusjih 02:14, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Article on China
Naus, I've decided to withdraw from discussions on the article on China. After you called Kirlston's contributions "crap", which I effectively seconded, he has been getting more and more out of hand in the way he approaches the article. He appears to know nothing about China, which shows in some of the erroneous statements he has made. Now he is telling us from his armchair that Japan should be included in the article on "China"! Since I feel rather strongly about people who haven't got a clue about the facts bursting in and trying to edit articles about China, I think it's better to keep away from this kind of controversy. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Unitedchinarelief.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Unitedchinarelief.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:14, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:TianjinDowntown.jpg
Hi Naus!
We thank you for uploading Image:TianjinDowntown.jpg, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.
