Nausea (Californian band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Born in Los Angeles, CA In the Rampart/Echo park area in the mid 1980's, NAUSEA is a grindcore/crust/industrial band featuring founding members, Oscar Garcia(Terrorizer) and Eric Castro(Majesty). Also in their ranks are Alfred "Garvey" Estrada (Terrorizer) and Vito Tagliente. Born from the ashes of Majesty, they are not a side project of Terrorizer (as many think incorrectly), but a definite band. When Terrorizer broke up in early '88 Nausea was in full activity, in fact, "World Downfall" was recorded posthumously one year later, and contained some Nausea songs that Oscar took to complete the album (Corporation Pull-in, Need to Live, Condemned System... World Downfall!). They split-up in 1993 and reformed in 2001. After their 1993 disband Nausea is now regrouped for a new age with new unrelenting menace. NAUSEA has returned and retained every ounce of their originality, aggression and outlook.
As of May 2008, Nausea announced they are on hiatus
Nausea have performed with Venomous Concept, Phobia, Bolt Thrower, Sadistic Intent, Repulsion, and Unholy Grave.
