You asked about offering the spreadsheet in Excel format. I get your point about more compatibility and I am an Excel user but I want to support free software, so if this spreadsheet makes people consider installing OpenOffice so they can look at it, fine. Of course you are free to do with the document what you want, but this is my opinion and any updates from me will continue to be OpenOffice 1. Thanks.
