[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Rectangular2 plan profile.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Rectangular1 plan profile.jpg. The copy called Image:Rectangular1 plan profile.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 22:01, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Jiskairumoko
Hi, you've just tagged the article Jiskairumoko as a stub... why so? It's at least at B level as it is thoroughly researched, has several citations, pics, etc. It only needs some polishing to achieve GA status. Would you mind if I remove the stub tag? --Victor12 01:16, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- You might want to read Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment for quick guidelines on article assessment. BTW great job Jiskairumoko, hope you plan to add the same quality of info for other archaeological sites. Even better if they are Peruvian sites, lol. Greetings, --Victor12 02:31, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Archaeology Basic Concepts
Hi Trans,
The following box does not seem to point to the existing list of basic concepts. The template you included seems to imply that they page does not exist, but when I went looking in the TOC I found an archaeology basic concepts page. I'm not very familiar with modifying templates, but I am working to improve information on archaeology. If you could help point the template to the right page, i would appreciate it. In the mean time I'm going to check your WP:VC so I can learn to "become one with the wiki."--NathanCraig 21:44, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

- It was a spelling error. Thanks for pointing it out to me. It's fixed now. By the way, I hope you like the lessons at the VC. If you'd like to sign up as a student, please let me know. The Transhumanist 00:05, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:0_21_080331_gold_necklace.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:0_21_080331_gold_necklace.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:34, 2 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECU≈talk 00:34, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the great image and clearing up the problems. Unfortunately, since it's not your own work (originally), we need a statement from the author as to them releasing it under a free license and what exactly they give us permission for. (This also helps clarify that they understand that the image may be used for commercial uses and other things). Please see WP:COPYREQ and have them send the standard disclaimer in to the fine folks at WP:OTRS and it will be all cleared up. This is really a formality, I do not foresee a problem with the image being used in the article or kept in the meanwhile, but do please take care of this. Thank you for your understanding and contributions to Wikipedia. MECU≈talk 02:36, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
