[edit] Anthrax toxin

Hello, I see that you created the page Anthrax toxin. However, Wikipedia already has an article concerning Anthrax which documents it's effects and results already. I just thought I would let you know before you spend unnecessary time and effort on a new article. Please feel free to contribute to the existing article. Also note that duplicate articles are almost always deleted, sometimes even under speedy deletion. ><Richard0612 UW 18:48, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

What is the source of this article? Could it be that you've copied it from, let's say, a scientific article, an abstract or a thesis?--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 20:21, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Ok, if that's the problem... I'll be glad to help. You could, for example, just copy-paste your sources if you have them, I'll be glad to wikify them for you. Are those original figures or images you hold the copyright to? If so, you might want to consider uploading them to Wikimedia Commons, our main image depository. Or if you don't have the time, you can send an e-mail with attachments to "stevenfruitsmaak at wikipedia d o t .be" and a statement of the licence and I could upload them for you.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 12:45, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
Another editor has outed copyright concerns... I think it's best that you go to the article's talk page and explain why you've been able to copy such elaborate content without violating copyright: i.e. you hold the copyright and release it under the GFDL by posting it to wikipedia.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 15:24, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Yes excellent thank you! I didn't want someone to investigate it for copyvio while it really wasn't... Great job and lot's of success!--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 19:54, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Untraveled Road

Hi, Thanks, On the Talk:St. George, Utah I explained why I deleted the untraveled road links. It was pursuant to a discussion on the Wikipedia Spam project and was mainly a concern that they were in violation of WP:EL - in particular the clause that states that an owner of a site shouldn't link to his own site. That's my main concern. There is useful information on the untraveled road site and if anyone else wants to link to it, I won't have any problem with it. The site owner did link more than 100 articles to his site - but it is pretty cool content. Thanks again for the note. Brian 03:34, 21 August 2006 (UTC)btball

Nate, I see that you were in favor of my link in St. George. I'm sorry if I added inappropriately, although I had kind of been given a go-ahead from other Wikipedians. I'd really appreciate it if you would re-add it. Brian has said that he won't delete it if someone else adds it. Thanks, Kelvin

[edit] Anthrax Toxin Images

I've uploaded them at Commons:

And I've put them in the article, except for the last one: it's generally not done to put tables like that in wikipedia articles: for example, if the article changes we can't adapt the table easily. It should be simply explained in the text.

I've also sent an e-mail to the confirmation system, so they can put a message on those pages that you have released them under the GFDL. If you find the time, you can easily upload them to Commons yourself, it's less of a hassle because you can use GFDL-self to avoid this step.
