Hi! I'm Nat, or goo. Thanks for clicking on my page. I'm sorry it's not very exciting. I'm not editing much at all at the moment as I am way too busy.

Random facts about me that you may or may not find interesting:
- I am Australian. I was born and raised in Canberra and spent an equal amount of time (~14 years) in Brisbane. I, like tens of thousands of my compatriots, now live in London, UK.
- I love to read, and I read a lot. I am interested in many things.
- I am a fire dragon Sagittarius. I hold absolutely no faith in astrology, but I can't deny I'm prone to self-combustion.
- I came out firmly in the centre of the left, libertarian square of the political compass, but don't consider myself a libertarian. Big government is essential to my work.
- I was a high-school dropout; despite this I was accepted into university at 18 and managed to fulfill the requirements for a Master's degree by age 23.
- I have been a vegetarian for 18 years, yet have no trouble wearing leather. Hypocrisy and double-think feature strongly in many of my beliefs, a fact with which I am totally comfortable. It's a complex world.
- I grew up as a member of a born again, evangelical Christian faith - this lead me to embrace atheism, and reject any form of evangelism, at a very young age.
- I have worked in policy and service provision for people with learning/intellectual/developmental disabilities, specialising in support services for people with challenging behaviour, for more than 10 years. My current job is managing supported living services for a large London local authority. I have avoided the articles on these topics until recently, mainly because I anticipated a lot of work, and I was right (sigh).
- I live very happily in grave sin with my partner, a Symbian programmer from Papua New Guinea. He edits using this account sometimes. I have learned a lot about computers through osmosis, but the gaps in my knowledge are huge. Occasionally I may sound like I know a lot more than what I actually do, and occasionally a lot less.
- I am an observer (an Enneagram type 5) and a sociologist, so find the social interaction and organisational aspects of Wikipedia as fascinating as the knowledge documentation aspect.
- Two of my ancestors have pages in Wikipedia: Gaspar, baron Gourgaud and Jean-Henry Gourgaud. I, like many of my compatriots, am of a distinct Euro-mutt ethnicity (French, Irish and Scottish).
- I went to high school with the guys from Cabin Crew, and know well a few of the former members of Isis.
- You can leave me a message on my talk page or email me at goo@sixinchstiletto.com.
- If you're really bored, I also have a blog at six inch stiletto.
