My name is Nate, and I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Toledo. I'm just finishing my bachelor's degree and will be licensed to teach high school. I'm doing my content in all physical sciences, but my concentration is in physics. I enjoy traveling, photography, and reading. Also, I'm somewhat of a grammar Nazi, so most of my page edits are spelling or grammatical corrections.
Proper grammar and spelling are important for the following reasons:
- Poor grammar and misspelled words destroy an author's credibility.
- Spelling and grammar can make a statement clear when used properly or ambiguous when they are not.
- Misspelled words are particularly distracting when reading any article.
- Wikipedia is an educational resource, and the people who contribute to it should at least pretend to be educated.
