About Nat
Hi, my name is Nat. I currently live in North York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My family originated from Xinhui/Sàn Wúi (新會) and Kaiping/Hoi Ping (開平), in the region of Sì Yì/Sze Yup (四邑) of Guangdong/Kwangtung/Canton Province, China, but has a long history of family members who were overseas Chinese.

I enjoy playing soccer with friends, playing guitar, and writing music.

My favourite bands are Switchfoot, Relient K, and Thousand Foot Krutch. I have also acquired a taste for Romanian music, particularly music from Romanian bands such as Activ and 3rei Sud Est.

I am also involved in many international issue-related activities, such as participating in Model UNs, as well as political discussion groups.

I am a supporter of the Conservative Party of Canada, as well as a supporter of John Tory's Tories (Ontario PC Party). (Although I like some of Dalton's policies, I would prefer John Tory's Tories over Dalton and his Liberals) I am also a supporter of the Parti libéral du Québec (Strange that a tory is supporting a "Liberal" party....not really....Jean Charest is traditionally and essentially a Red Tory...and I feel that they are the best party to lead Québec at this moment....Also, PLQ isn't at all affiliated with the Liberal Party of Canada...so I'm ok with the fact that I support the PLQ...I thought the ADQ was good at one point...but what can I say...).

In Chinese Politics, I am somewhat of a supporter of the new and reformed Kuomintang, which is by definition, a conservative party from my prospective because they see the role of tradition, the organic nature of society, and they believe in gradual change and that society can not be radically altered. (So if you plan on calling me a communist...don't...not all Chinese people are communists...)

Although those are my personal political beliefs, none of them are a factor when I contribute to Wikipedia as adhering to WP:NPOV is one of key policies that I follow. So if there is verifiable information about my political party, other parties I support, or politicians I support, from reliable sources, I will not remove the information (if someone else added it) or (if no one else has added the information yet) I will add it myself. This means that if that if there is positive information, I will add it, and if there is negative information, I will add it, but only if the information is verifiable and comes from reliable sources. (if you do wish to see what my political views are, you can visit my blog at http://nathanieltang.wordpress.com)

I speak French, English, and Cantonese fluently, and at my own pace, and at leasure, I am attempting to learn Romanian. So far, the only Romanian phrases I've learned are "Salut!", "Ce (mai) faci?", "Sunt bine", "Scuze pentru confusie", "Da, e mai bine asa.", and "multumesc", although there are other words that I have knowledge of, I can't seem to figure how to put the words together to make a sentence...

I am User:Nat on meta, commons, French Wikipedia, Romanian Wikipedia and WikiMusician, and currently User:Nat.tang on Memory Alpha.

Anyways, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns (please, nothing insulting or pushy), please leave them on my talk page...Thx :D
