It's basically the same thing as Republican China (28-49), both on the mainland, in most common usage. Blueshirts 08:41, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
It can refer to Taiwan pre-2000 (in contrast to Communist China), as my high school U.S. history textbook did. Guomin zhengfu only lasted until 1948--Jiang 16:37, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
