[edit] Good Re-direct

It's called National *Socialism* for a reason. Sure, like other types of political philosophy, it hasn't quite worked out - but there should be due weight given to other notions of national socialism that were not (and are not) so Euro-Centric (or, admittedly, genocidally inclined).

If there were a logical way of dividing the political spectrum - then at least *list* the different forms of national socialism. German National Socialism was only one type and variety - surely there have been others?

I just set the following : #REDIRECT National Socialism (disambiguation)

Now, it might not be politically correct, but at least it's meta-philosophically correct. MrASingh 00:55, 04 March 2007 (UTC)

You should make a redirect to the article most likely to be expected (see [1]) when making a link to National Socialism, that article is Nazism, not a disambig page. Intangible2.0 07:34, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
This is not proper, the term covers more than just the German Nazis

The redirect should be to National Socialism (disambiguation) Restored proper redirect to disambiguation page--Cberlet 15:51, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Disambiguation#Links_to_disambiguation_pages. You are going against WP policy. Intangible2.0 17:28, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
I disagree with your claim, and have filed for mediation. Please join the mediation.Wikipedia:Requests_for_mediation/National_Socialism--Cberlet 18:02, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
This is silly. If editors use a wikilink to National socialism or National Socialism they expect the Nazism article. You do not wikilink to disambig pages (unless in the header of the article), because that kind of defies the purpose of wikilinking in itself. Sigh. Intangible2.0 18:36, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] National Socialism

We need to have a discussion about the continuous redirect of National Socialism and National socialism to Nazism instead of National Socialism (disambiguation); and the continuous insertion of claims concerning the term and its use, especially in the lead, but also elsewhere. This discussion is best held at Nazism so we can all, literally, be on the same page. Thanks. --Cberlet 14:55, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
