Someone with superior knowledge of some of the truly arcane aspects of AISA/NPSL rules such as the "supergoal" mentioned in the article (two or three points awarded for a successful shot from "outside the arc" reminiscient of basketball's three-point shot) should feel welcome to contribute here. I, who attended/watched a very limited number of games and even then was not entirely sure of what I was watching, am inadequate to the task, as I don't know what the distances for these arcs were.

Originally, the distance for a 3 point goal was 50 feet (beyond the yellow line). Later the league put in a 45 foot arc for 3 point goals. KitHutch 17:44, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
