I done writing a new article about National Musuem in Warsaw

[edit] Article title

Until a few hours ago, this article's title was "National Museum in Warsaw." That was an extremely literal translation, into English, of the Museum's Polish name, "Muzeum Narodowe w Warszawie" — a translation that had always bothered me as unidiomatic for the English language. In that regard, the present title, "Warsaw National Museum," rings better to my ear, reflecting a usage parallel to that which is applied to California State University at San Francisco, which is generally called "San Francisco State University."

Some editors have criticized the change in the article's title. I can see some merit to their concern as well. The current change of title to "Warsaw National Museum" has prompted me to think about a better translation for the Museum's name than the original, over-literal one — and I think I may have stumbled on it. I propose that we consider "National Museum, Warsaw." logologist|Talk 02:45, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
