Talk:National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello,
I do not believe the article has been written in a neutral objective point of view, in particular the aims section is what concerns me the most.
The best example of an article in the area that attempts to do a good job is [MIT_Computer_Science_and_Artificial_Intelligence_Laboratory], Its not brilliant, but I think it is in the right direction. I have no objections to there being an article on the NCREE, but it is worth making it sound different to a pamphlet one would find on their front desk.
The changes that have been made since I tagged it last are good ones, so the article is moving in the right direction User A1 (talk) 01:55, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Hello, this is the creator of the NCREE page.
I am very sorry about the biased view, and am now rewriting the article, mainly changing biased words such as leading member etc. The page is still being worked on and more info will be added, although this time I will do my best to keep it neutral. The aims section i would need some tips on how to edit, as so far the best thing i have come up with is changing the tense.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:NCREE LOGO 700.gif
Image:NCREE LOGO 700.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
