Talk:National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There is more BCAM information on the pink ribbon page than on the BCAM page itself. I think we should move the BCAM information from pink ribbon to BCAM, and thus make the pink ribbon page focus specifically on its actual topic. What do you think? WhatamIdoing 17:17, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- As there were no objections on either page, I made this change. WhatamIdoing 17:03, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Criticisms cleanup
Some of the criticisms didn't make much sense -- I have attempted to clean up a little with several significant and minor (i.e., grammatical) changes, and have added citations. Youngea (talk) 00:43, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Removing POV
I have removed the following from the History section because it is not written to be verifiable, and appears to be someone's positive opinion of the campaign. "It is safe to say BCAM is one of the most successful health awareness campaigns the UK, and other countries, have ever seen. The pink ribbon is easily recognized as the symbol for breast awareness and the colour pink has become well established with the cause." Youngea (talk) 01:03, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
