Members of the National Association os Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity) were involved in the Killing of memebrs of the Black in the then Anambra State University of Technology Awka in 1989. NAS far from being the exalted group they claim to be originated campus violence in Nigeria. They used their influence and numbers to terrorise all other up and coming fraternities on campus
