This page is amazingly, incredibly, messed up. All of the pages involving this trilogy are very wrong, case in point being the speculation in the links section and the 1 sentence summary of the third book, which is incorrect according to the story. I would take a bit of action to correct all this crap, but I am new to Wiki, and dont want to mess anything up. I just think it should be looked into.

No kidding. I understand basically how to use Wikipedia, but there is too much wrong stuff here for me to change. Someone with a lot of time should go and totally rewrite this article. The most obvious thing is that they totally skip over The Golem's Eye, but half of the facts that are presented are false or oversimplified. Two examples: Nathaniel is not particularly cruel to his servants, he just needs their help a lot. His respect for them has greatly grown since book 2. Also, although the writer of the article mentioned that the government fractured overnight, rather than gradually as in the real world, the government in the book is very different and it fractures in modern times.

Be bold. If you can edit the talk page you shouldn't have any problems editing an article. Others can look after stylistic elements if that's what you're worried about. Accuracy is more important. --TM 19:31, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

I've removed that big chunk of analysis below the external links section and moved it to the page on Ptolemy's Gate.--65.113.254.206 21:27, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

i really liked this book! but i didn't care for the ending much i mean right when nathaniel remembers his real self he dies, and lets not forget that he and ktty could have been close and ended the cnflict kitty was looking into with bartimaeus at their side! basically, good book. sad (kinda bad) ending. i really wish it wasn't the end at all either like mabey a saga or series but not a short 3 book trilogy! i mean jeez! also i tink they should at least make a movie or something that would be awesome! call me crazy but i felt like i knew these characters and when i found out they will never cross paths again well that really sucked for me.

well hope they make the movie and until then i will read my other books(my once favs but the bartimaeus trilogy took 1st they are now 2nd and 3rd) so bye bye!
