How could this model possibly be of "mid" importance on the projects scale? She lost a reality show contest, and has struggled to find modeling work ever since. -- Mikeblas 17:33, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Upgrade to B class

Felt as though article fits the criteria of a B-class article. Acne_Wash 21:59, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

I don't think so. There's no image, lacks properly formatted citations, no full date of birth, no info on how she came to the US. —dgiestc 21:59, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removing Requests for source statments

Added source statement to article. Acne_Wash 21:59, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removing Requests for citations

Action has been taken to ensure citations are now included in the article. Acne_Wash 21:59, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] References

I've added several refernces to the page. Galkina was rewarded her correspondent job via an episode of "Top Model". Information about her life in Russia was gathered from the Season Finale of Top Model. Fashion spread for US Weekly is now included in the "References" section.

Occupation is listed on CW site as "College Student." This should be used as a citation, no?

[edit] Melrose

Since Melrose Bickerstaff ended up being deleted (and later turned into a redirect) for not being notable outside the show, how is Natasha different?--theblueflamingoSquawk 20:43, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Apparently she's becoming a correspondent on The Tyra Banks Show. That's two shows; she's young, and gaining notability. I'd say let her stay. -- Yamara 14:01, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Well then, create another for Melrose Bickerstaff. Every runner-up of ANTM should each have an entry for wikipedia. I sense some bitterness here on raising the issue for the deletion of this entry for Natasha Galkina. Grow up, you guys. - Vanishiwa 14:39, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Pointless to delete the page when her career is actually taking off. We'd have to do the work all over again. -- Yamara 21:59, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

She should really stay since we don't know yet what she is going to do in the future...the show just ended and she is set to be on the Tyra show. She was also thousands of peoples' favorite.

Given that there are articles for other reality show contestants who did not win (see Survivor articles), and given that Natasha is a correspondent for The Tyra Banks Show, she should stay Skeetidot 17:58, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Runner-up on a very popular reality television series, and is going to be a Tyra Show correspondent. I say, she should stay.- Acne_Wash

[edit] Age at Marriage

"Natasha married her American husband when she was 18 and he was 40."

In an interview with BuddyTV, (http://www.buddytv.com/articles/americas-next-top-model/exclusive-interview-natasha-ga-6683.aspx) Natasha states that she got married when she was almost 20, but starting dating her husband when she was 18. Could someone change this?

Somebody please remove the deletion request...it's too early to know if she will gain notability with the Tyra show...plus, she's the runner up of cycle 8 and she is arguably the most talked-about contestant on the show.

Natasha is 5 f, 8 and a half inches!

Why is Natasha listed as 5'7"? She has said in numerous interviews that she is 5'8.5". 4.241.223.210 08:06, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

In a pre-show interview, Natasha stated she was born/grew up in a suburb of Rostov, a city in the south of Russia before moving to Moscow.

Also on her agency's website (musenyc.com) it states that Natasha is 5'9 not 5'8, her bust is 34 in., her waist is 24 in., her hips are 33 in., and her shoe size is an 8 1/2. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.143.151.10 (talk) 18:23, August 23, 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Natalia?

Is there a source saying her real name is Natalia? 98.201.84.139 (talk) 19:43, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

"Natasha" is often, but not always, a pet form of "Natalia". However, I have been unable to find a source that says that her birth name is actually "Natalia". Perhaps it should be taken out. Eatcacti (talk) 21:00, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
