Naturally 7 is an American a cappella music group. They sing primarily R&B with extensive beat-boxing. Band members are Garfield Buckley, Rod Eldridge, Warren Thomas, Jamal Reed, Roger Thomas, Dwight Stewart, and Armand "Hops" Hutton.
They spawned two Hit-Singles, a cover of Phil Collins's "In the Air Tonight" which was an international Top-Twenty song (France, Italy) and "Music Is the Key" which hit the number 1 in Germany and the Top-Ten in Switzerland, Poland and Austria.
On the 12th of July 2007, they performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, together with artists like Al Jarreau and George Benson.
They are now touring with Michael Buble on his "Call Me Irresponsible" Live American Tour.
On March 13, the tour bus they were riding burned to the ground.[1]
Band spokeswoman Marlene Palmer says the driver of the bus carrying Naturally 7 noticed smoke coming from the rear of the bus in his rear view mirror while driving north on Interstate 65, near Munfordville, at around 11 a.m. CDT on Thursday. Band member Roger Thomas remembered going to sleep at about 9 a.m. after having breakfast with the driver.
"The next thing I heard was, 'Get off the bus! The bus is on fire!" he said.
Thomas left the bus in his pajamas, but soon realized he should have carried some things off.
"About a minute later, it came to the reality that the only things I had was what was in my hands," he said.
According to the report from Kentucky State Police, the bus was engulfed in flames when officers and firefighters arrived.
The a capella group had completed its sound check at Freedom Hall Friday afternoon and was scheduled to open for Michael Buble on Friday night.
"The running joke is, we don't have to worry about our instruments," Thomas said.
Band members were transported to the Hart County Chamber of Commerce after the fire, where they were picked up by a replacement bus after about two hours.
