Info "Natural" (help·info)

"Natural" was a single released by UK pop group, S Club 7 on September 11, 2000. It was a slow R&B orientated ballad with Rachel singing lead vocals. The track was written by Cathy Dennis and A.Todd. It sampled and celebrated Gabriel Fauré's Pavane as its main theme, but a lot of people are actually unaware that the song is a re-written cover of French artist Norma Ray's early 90's hit, "Tous Les Maux D'Amour".

"Natural", S Club 7's fifth single, is a song where Rachel Stevens takes the lead vocals. In it, it describes how loving the person the song is written for, is the most natural thing and loving them comes so easily.

The music video is set on Malibu Beach. It doesn't have a narrative, like "Reach" or "S Club Party" before it, but involves the band dancing on the sand, lying in hammocks and having a relaxed time on the beach. Half way through the video, Paul, Jon and Bradley put on their wetsuits and go fishing in the sea. The girls look on, sunbathing on the nearby rocks. They then go on to take a shower underneath a waterfall. At the end of the video, the group sit around a campfire and complete the rest of the song.

The music video features two different edits. In the beginning, shots of Rachel on the beach were replaced with Paul, Jon and Bradley grabbing coconuts from the trees. Other footage during the song include close ups or dance routines, featuring more of the boys and the whole group versus close ups of Rachel Stevens. It is not known which is the intended original video, Also there is different version of the song. Towards the end of the video, Rachel sings these rifs that are not heard on the single version. Even though not being on their single the song is on the UK version of "7", the second version is on the US version of "7"(Wich also appeared on their TV show LA7). The US version is more R&B and the boys vocals are not heard on this version.
