A national beauty contest is a beauty pageant officially registered and acknowledged by the government of the country it is being held in. The recognition of a beauty contest is usually expressed and approved by the Ministry of Tourism and/or culture.
The following are the registered national beauty contests in their respective countries:
1. MISS AMERICAN SAMOA - (MASI) is run by Miss American Samoa Incorporation
2. MISS ARMENIA - is run by the former Ministry of Culture of Armenia
