[edit] National Christian Council of India

The engagement of the Malankara Orthodox Church in the national ecumenical organization was a historic step for the Church. Many were the church leaders, such as the late Dr.Philipos Mar Theophilos, the late Dr.Paulos Mar Gregorios and H.G.Dr.Geevarghese Mar Osthathios, rendered outstanding contributions in bringing the Church's theology and perspectives to the attention of this ecumenical organization. H.G.Geevarghese Mar Coorilos is one of the former presidents of this Council.

[edit] Regional Christian Councils

The Malankara Orthodox Church actively participates in the regional Christian councils, prominent being the Kerala Council of Churches and the Maharashtra Council of Churches. H.G. Dr.Yuhanon Mar Milithios is serving as the Vice-President of the Kerala Council of Churches, while H.G. Geevarghese Mar Coorilos is the President of the Maharashtra Council of Churches.

[edit] Churches' Auxiliary for Social Action(CASA)

This is an ecumenical organization working under the auspices of the NCCI and responds to the social and the like. H.G. Dr.Thomas Mar Athanasios, H.G.Dr.Yuhanon Mar Milithios and H.G.Dr.Yakoob Mar Ireneus are the Church's representatives on the board of CASA.

[edit] Bible Society of India, Kerala Circle

It is mainly through the Kerala Circle of the Bible Society of India that the Malankara Orthodox Church actively involves itself in the programmes of the Bible Society. H.D.Geevarghese Mar Osthathios is one of the former presidents of this organization. In addition to the above organizations and councils, representatives of the Church are actively involved in attending various conferences on the international, national and regional levels.
