National Wrestling Federation was a wrestling promotion based in Buffalo, New York and owned by promoter Pedro Martinez (no relation to the baseball player) which operated from 1970 to 1974. Some of wrestling's biggest names wrestled here, including Johnny Powers, Abdullah the Butcher, Ox Baker, Johnny Valentine, Ernie Ladd and others.

The Heavyweight and North American Heavyweight titles were later used by New Japan Pro Wrestling as its main titles until 1981.

The federation made a minor run in the mid to late 80's in northern New England under different ownership. Famous names that were in the federation (although only for a few matches) were Bad News Brown (as B.L. Brown), Danny Davis, Ray Traylor (before Big Bossman gimmick), Sam Houston, Terry Funk and Ricky Steamboat.
