The Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (National University of Tucumán, UNT) is a national university in the Tucumán Province, in the northwest region of Argentina.

The Universidad Nacional de Tucuman (Spanish: National University of Tucuman) is the largest university from Argentina's North and Northwest. It was founded on 25th May of 1914 in San Miguel de Tucuman city. It has 13 faculties, 3 museums and the high schools Gymnasium, Instituto Técnico (Spanish: Technic Institute), Escuela de Bellas Artes (Spanish: Beautiful Arts School), Escuela de Agricultura (Spanish: School of Agriculture), Escuela y Liceo Vocacional Sarmiento (Spanish: School and Vocational Liseum Sarmiento) and Instituto Técnico de Aguilares.

The admission in its classrooms is not restricted and its education is free.
