National Parliamentary Tournament of Excellence
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The National Parliamentary Tournament of Excellence operates an invitation-only national championship tournament once per year for parliamentary debate.
Teams qualify for the NPTE based on their season-long performances at various tournaments around the United States. The ranking system awards points for both preliminary and elimination round performances, and weighs tournaments with larger national fields more heavily than smaller tournaments. The top 54 teams in the nation are invited to attend the NPTE.
