The National Museum of Science and Industry (NMSI) is a collection of British museums, comprising:
- The National Railway Museum in York.
- The Science Museum in London.
- The National Media Museum in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
- The Locomotion Museum in Shildon, County Durham.

It was announced on 9 March 2006 that Martin Earwicker has been appointed as the new Director of NMSI.
An ambitious new project, Inspired, which will open up to the public the 92% of the Science Museum collections which are currently hidden away, is currently being developed at Science Museum Swindon in Wroughton near Swindon, Wiltshire.
