The National Museum of American Jewish History is a museum in Center City Philadelphia, located just nearby the city's main historical attractions Independence Hall and Liberty Bell within the Independence National Historical Park. It was founded in 1976 and contains a large collection on the role and the everyday life of Jews in America. In 2010 the museum will open the doors to a new state-of-art facility.
