[edit] About Us

"The NJGC is committed to providing affordable and competitive junior golf tournaments, which are easily accessible for Club members throughout the year; Spring, Summer, and Fall. Summer is by far our busiest season, with 6 tournaments a week being played from early June to early August. Our Club has grown tremendously over the past several years and we now offer tournaments in Charlotte-Metro, NC West (Gastonia, Shelby, Hickory & surrounding areas), Triad, and Raleigh(Triangle), Virginia, and Charleston, South Carolina and some surrounding areas. With these tours combined we'll be able to offer over 50 tournaments to the Southeast's best junior golfers in the Summer months. That makes us the largest Junior Tour in the Southeast with our popularity still growing!"

Greens fees for summer events will be range from $30 and up for 18 holes and $20 and up for 9 holes. Fees for Invitational Tournaments will vary, but usually start at around $100. Each area tour will host around 8 tournaments, including the end of the Summer Local Tour Championship that is open to all NJGC members. Our biggest event this year will be the Southeastern Tour Championship which will be a three day event on the sunny, sandy beaches of Myrtle Beach, SC. It's invitation only, so play hard; it's the tournament everyone wants to be in. We also host our annual Parent Child tournament at the beach before the SE Tour Championship to try and promote family involvement in our junior golf program. We hold other parent child events throughout the year in various tour areas. We encourage parents and grandparents to come out and watch their junior in action. Our age groups are as follows: Boys 7-under (9 Holes) Boys 8-9 Boys 10-11 Boys 12-13 Boys 14-15 Boys 16-18 Girls 8-under (9 Holes) Girls 9-10 Girls 11-13 Girls 14-18"[1]
