It links Walsall with the affluent area of Park Hall (referred to as Gillity Village) via Chuckery.

Previously the route operated at a half hourly frequency, but from April 2008 changed to just an hourly frequency.
The route was also at one staged rerouted in the Chuckery area, but the locals successfully launched to a campaign to reroute it.
